Herndon UMC opens their hearts to visitors, members, and the community around us. As an example, we serve a meal every other month at the Hopkinsville Salvation Army Soup Kitchen. We collect money for the Kentucky United Methodist Children's Home, a shelter in Versailles dedicated to helping children with histories of abuse, neglect, and trauma.
See our Ministries page for more of our outreach efforts.
We share a faith in Jesus Christ as our Savior, but we are encouraged to think for ourselves, so we don't necessarily share the same views and opinions about every faith issue or social concern. We don't strive to be identical in our faith walks, but we do strive to work together to make a difference in our world. The Methodist church encourages us to learn by discussion and reasoning and not to judge others.

Our doors are always open to visitors! We Gather for Sunday School at 9:45 AM (a short devotional, announcements, and prayer before dismissal to Sunday School). We then Gather for Worship at 11:00 AM. We welcome you to these services.
We blend traditional and contemporary Christian music into our services. Dress casual--God loves you for what's inside, not what you wear.
